The Court Street Livery (www.courtstreetlivery.com) is a restored 1890s red wood barn. The exterior is rough cut, board and batten siding and it has a metal roof. The interior has great ambiance with four massive wooden posts, heart pine wood, a 30-foot high ceiling, brick walls, great windows, dramatic lighting, 9 ceiling fans, and a finished concrete floor. It is handicapped accessible, and has a catering kitchen, central heat and AC, and other modern amenities. There is an outdoor patio (although the surface is currently a bit rough).
The Court Street Livery is is in the heart of historic Washington, GA, and just a few steps from the charming town square, the marvelous 1895 Fitzpatrick Hotel (an 1895 Victorian beauty), quaint shops, and local restaurants. Washington is an easy 45 minute drive from both Athens and Augusta, and a two hour drive from Atlanta.
The Court Street Livery is ideal for weddings and rehearsal dinners. It easily handles 125 people, and can handle more depending on the nature of the event. It is largely a do-it-yourself facility which means you can create a truly unique event. You can choose your own caterer and bring in and serve your own alcohol. We have some tables that you can use, and there are great equipment rental companies in the area.
The catering kitchen has a stove with two ovens and four burners, ample refrigerator and freezer space, a large food warming box, a 4-bay sink, and food preparation space. andREAD LESS
