Having an emergency kit on your wedding day ensures that everything goes on smoothly without a glitch. These kits are usually packed by your maid of honor or your colleague who put them in a hoist bag and place it in a secure and an easy to reach place during the bridal reception. So how is a wedding emergency kit created? The following is the list of items included in the emergency kit.
Things that deal with medical mini-emergencies. This is where you consider having medication for things such as headaches and blisters ready since they can occur at any time and you will need to eliminate them as soon as possible. For such kind of emergencies, you will need to have in your kit things such as antacids, allergy medication, pain relievers, and moleskin.
Also ensure things such as some extra cash, a phone charger, hand sanitizers, super glue, stain remover pen (in case of any spills), mirror, scissors, fashion tape, nail clippers, pens, pantyhose, water, nail file, earing backs, sewing kit, sunscreen, safety pins, shoe pads, heel protectors (required for walking on the grass), fast flats, rubber bands, batteries, tissues (for dabbing away your tears of joy and keeping your eye makeup on point), breath mints (to prepare you for your first kiss), and an extra underwear are all in your emergency kit since you really never know when you might need any of those things.
You should also include things that cater to your makeup, beauty, and hair since you want to ensure that you keep looking beautiful throughout your bridal ceremony. Your makeup and hair can get messy after some hours so have things that can help to do a retouch of anything that will be needing a retouch. You can include things such as; comb, brush, lipstick, eyeliner, face mint, hairspray, bobby pins, eye cream, clear nail polish, fragrance (to keep you smelling amazing on your special day), and face makeup.
When coming up with a list of things to include in your wedding emergency kit, make sure you include anything and everything that you know you might need on your big day. If there are any medications that you take regularly, ensure they are in your emergency kit. A wedding emergency kit is usually personalized to cater to your specific needs. This will give you an opportunity of including only the things you use, for example, if you prefer having lip gloss over lipstick, you will include a lip gloss tube of your choice in the emergency kit instead of lipstick. It is also a good idea to ask your close friends if there is anything that you might be missing to avoid leaving out important things that you will require. Once your kit is ready, then you will rest assured that you are prepared for anything that might come your way on your special day.
