Our venues are a Rustic hunting lodge as well as a picnic/campground for rent. With beautiful, picturesque views of Mt Rainier, and the crisp Washington air surrounding you, Tacoma Sportsmen’s Club is the perfect place for your wedding ceremony or reception. Typically a conservation organization that provides events and facilities for members and the public to improve their outdoor shooting skills, on the day of your wedding it will be transformed into the perfect romantic and rustic space for you to tie the knot. Your ceremony and reception may be held in the large Chateau hall.
Complete with high vaulted ceilings, dark rafters, and a hardwood floor, the space is very open to creativity and flexibility when it comes to creating your perfect celebration. You can choose to hang gauzy fabric from the rafters to enhance the intimate feel or bare bulb string lights to highlight the rustic atmosphere. There is also a full sound system for your use, as well as a changing room. We are also a handicap friendly facility.
All types of events are welcome - weddings, renewing vows, same sex ceremonies, anniversary celebrations, and religious or non-religious ceremonies. You and your guests will have a fun and unforgettable celebration full of food, drink, and dance in this welcoming and rustic space. There is also an in-house caterer if you so choose to hire them. Tables and chairs are provided for you to set up your event in any configuration that works for you. There is also a commercial kitchen available if you choose to bring in your own food. Potlucks are welcome. If only renting the Foyer you alos have full access to the kitchen as well.
If you wish to have an outdoor wedding we have a large picnic and camping are to accommodate you. A large covered pavilion is located there with full power along with fire pit rings, two horseshoe pits and a baseball diamond should folks wish to participate in those activities. Bouncy Houses are also fine to bring in.
The rental fee ranges from $250 for the picnic grounds, $300 and $1,600 for an event and includes 13 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The setup fee for the evening before an event is $450, from 4pm to 9pm. If you wish to hold a rehearsal, it may be booked for $100 per hour. A refundable security deposit of $1,000 is required for the hall, $650 for the Foyer and $500 for the picnic grounds. Please inquire with venue coordinator for weekday weddings. Maximum capacity for the Chateau and picnic grounds is 250. For the Foyer it is 50.
