Starting with this spectacular background you have a near endless scope of possibilities to create your vision. The Loft’s 4000 square foot venue is spacious enough to hold a ceremony and reception. Offerings At Russell Lowell Catering we create food that people remember. Our food artistically delights the eye as well as the palette. Russell and his team create custom menus for each event using seasonal, fresh, and local ingredients. “Simple, Done Well” best describes Russell’s vision and accomplishments. All of which make him one of Seattle's most sought after chefs. The Loft can accommodate up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception and 165 guest for a seated buffet or plated dinner. The tables that are available include (10) 60in rounds, (1) 72in round, (10) 6ft rectangle tables, (7) cocktail style tables, (1) sweetheart table and (4) wine barrels that can be used to create your desired layout. Dinnerware, linens, chairs, glassware, pipe and drape, café lighting and two styles of arches may be rented for an additional charge that will be conveniently taken care of by our wedding coordinator. We offer complimentary cake cutting and service for your special event. Here at Russell’s we have ample free parking for you and your guests and are ADA accessible. Our staff executes your desired layout and cleanup of all rentals. You only need to take with you anything you brought and leave the rest to us! Catering and Beverage Service Russell Lowell Catering is the exclusive caterer for The Loft and will supply all food, beverage, deserts and service staff for events. A 21% service charge will be added based on the food and beverage cost. Due to health code standards and regulations, food may not be brought onto or taken from the property preceding or following an event, with the exception of wedding cakes. All wedding cakes must be prepared by a licensed baker. Russell Lowell Catering has an extensive wine list and work with many local wineries and breweries to put together our custom beverage packages. Alcohol will be provided and served by Russell Lowell Catering staff and is subject to Washington State Liquor Control Board Guidelines. Clients may choose from any combination of a cash or hosted bar with wine, champagne, beer and cocktails. No outside alcohol is permitted without prior approval. Rental Time Events at The Loft are not set to a specific time, but rather consist of the hours you contract. Only one event is booked per day as this allows for greater flexibly to have the event fit your timeline. You may discuss your timing needs with your event coordinator prior to the event. All staffing is billed at the hourly rate. Planning The Loft at Russell’s is an all-inclusive venue that offers a skilled event planning team by your side throughout the planning process. Not only is our barn beautiful on the inside but we also offer an outdoor courtyard available for your cocktail hour as well as other great options for outdoor photography. The Loft offers café string lighting throughout the venue, a spacious dance floor, and a private bridal suite. A 30 minute rehearsal is included in our ceremony fee. Booking and Cancellation Policies A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold the date of your wedding. This deposit may be paid in two payments. 25% to hold the date and thirty days later the other 25% will be due. In a situation where we are able to rebook your date to another client we will refund your deposit. The remaining balance of your estimate will be due 10 days before your wedding with your final head count. If the final payment is not received your event will be delayed. Any adjustments (such as: alcohol charges, time overages ect.) will be charged the following day. The actual cost may change depending on the menu selection, final guest count, rentals, agenda and beverage consumption. With the beautiful cedar surrounding your guests, less is more when it comes to décor in The Loft. Décor We ask that the decorations be approved ahead of time and that the items are removed within an hour after the event. We do not allow rice, glitter, confetti or birdseed to be thrown on the premises. Bubble blowing and sparklers are only permitted outside away from the structures. Additional lighting options need to be installed by a licensed company. Candles are permitted on top of your guest tables as long as the flame is covered. Any candles on the floor of The Loft must be flameless. All Brides and Grooms are responsible for setting up and removing personal décor that The Loft has not provided. Music Background music is welcome during your event. Due to dinner service downstairs, we require that loud music and dancing starting no earlier than 9 pm, with first dances starting at 8:45pm. The Loft is not equipped with any sound system, however, we are able to provide a speaker that has a Bluetooth hook up and one microphone. We are Wi-Fi accessible and can provide a complimentary projector screen for your event. Guest Count Guarantee The final guest count is due 10 days prior to your event. We will always do our best to accommodate increases that may occurs at the last minutes but are unable to accommodate decreases in guest count within 10 days.
